I´ve shipped painted armies to Australia and the USA before without problems, so do not worry about the distance.
For warmachine figures (to give an estimate of the cost), i´ve been using the following prices; 1,5 times the cost of the figure. Units with double the cost. This is to make the time and supplies used worthwhile. Past customers have been happy with this pricing, but ill still make an offer based on the project.
